Purple Tier Projects/Activities/Events

• MLK Day of Service (scout families picked and conducted on own: harvesting & donating fruit to food banks, making quilts for elderly, making meals for homeless, promoting mask wearing, litter clean-up, etc.)

• Upcycling Old Tee-shirts into dog toys for SJ shelter

• FreeRice.com to raise funds to fee the hungry

• Collaborative Song, recorded via Zoom, to thank essential workers for their service

• Meal prep and delivery for local homeless shelter

• Yard clean-up at home

• Family hikes, bike rides, etc.

• Wildlife observations

• Online meetings exclusively

• Wacky Wednesdays

Orange Tier Projects/Activities/Events

Service Projects

• Coastal Clean-Up in household groups

Camping Trips

• Camp-in (in our own backyards/homes with Zoom campfire)

Field Days (at Orange Tier)

• Meet at a local park with large field area. 

• Families put down chairs, canopies, blankets, etc. to social distance properly/ mask and hand cleaning protocols followed

• Scout stills are taught

• Games and activities conducted in family teams

Pack Meetings (at Orange Tier)

• In the parking lot of the Moose Lodge

• Safe social distancing and mask protocol 

• Children awarded patches for activities and awards for scouting skills learned

• Skits and games!

Other Activities

• Drive-in Movies (at Moose Lodge, projections screen, families stay socially distanced in cars)

• Hiking (Santa Teresa County Park, Ed Levin County Park, etc.)
